Carnivore Surveys
Client:
U.S. Forest Service

We use baited camera stations to determine presence/absence of
Pacific fisher, American marten, wolverine, and Sierra Nevada red
fox in typical forest habitats at high elevations. We
have conducted winter surveys for these species in Plumas National Forest
since 2004 on the following projects:
●
Mineral Winter Carnivore Survey, Lassen National Park and National Forest,
current in 2007 - 2008
●
Mineral and Swain Summer Carnivore Survey, Lassen National Park,
Caribou Wilderness, Lassen National Forest, 2007
●
Flea Forest Carnivore Survey, along the Feather River, Plumas National Forest, 2005
●
Slapjack Forest Carnivore Survey, near Lake Oroville, Plumas National Forest,
2004
